On this tour we will visit the northern side of the island of Tenerife, and we fully customize the visit to the clients’ wishes. There are many interesting options to choose from throughout the day and the travellers decide which points they wish to stop at along the way.
The north of the island has been constantly formed by the trade winds that cover the area with moisture, granting it a rugged appearance and exuberant life. The green lands, water sources and fertile soils is what initially attracted the Europeans after the conquest.
We will visit nature reserves, monumental villas, manor houses, farms, banana plantations, religious monuments, wineries, guachinches (typical local restaurants) and fishing villages among others. We will also talk about the original inhabitants, the Guanches, who lived in this fascinating part of the island where the cultural, historic and landscape contrasts will surprise everyone.
* Main attractions: Santa Cruz, San Cristobal de La Laguna, La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz, Garachico, Icod, Parque del Drago, Teno Rural Park and many other places to deviate from the main tourist routes.
Duration of tour: Up to 8 hours.
Lunch in a local restaurant is not included in the price but it can be arranged at an extra cost.
